The short version: I collect only what I need to reply to you and do my work, I never sell it, and you can ask me to delete it any time. Last updated September 2026.
EEBE Design is a one-person marketing and design studio run by Ellen Bestland in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It's written in plain language on purpose, because that's how I'd want it explained to me.
When you fill out the contact form, I receive what you type: your name, email address, business name if you include it, and your message. When you browse the site, basic analytics record things like which pages were visited, roughly where visitors are from, and what kind of device was used. Analytics data is aggregated and doesn't tell me who you are.
I use your contact details to reply to you, and if we end up working together, to do the work. I use analytics to understand which pages are useful. That's it. I don't sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, ever, and I won't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask to join.
This site is built and hosted on Webflow, which processes form submissions on my behalf. Your message also lands in my email. These providers have their own privacy and security practices, and some may store data outside Canada. I keep the list of tools I use short, and everything stays inside accounts only I control.
This site uses a small number of cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will keep working.
I keep messages and client records as long as they're useful for the inquiry or the working relationship, and for reasonable business records afterward. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, ask and I'll do it.
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask me what personal information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. You can also withdraw consent for me to contact you at any time. One email is all it takes, and you'll hear back from me directly.
This site links out to places like Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Once you leave eebedesign.ca, those platforms' privacy policies apply, not this one.
